The Avstar Media courseware utilizes the latest technology to provide interactive computer-based training. Training that used to require classroom instruction can now be completed anywhere a user has a computer. Via computer disk or soon, over the Internet, users can complete the training they need. And, training administrators can rest assured that all users get the same quality training because every user receives the exact same instruction.

Lessons present concepts through the Socratic method (question and answer format), utilizing 3D graphics to help illustrate subject material. To introduce new concepts and explain complex systems, interactive tutorials are used. These tutorials ensure understanding through the use of audio narrations, engaging interactions, and system simulations.

Upon completion of the lessons and/or tutorials, comprehensive computer-based exams are taken to verify users completed and understood the course content. Exams are randomly generated from a pool of questions but each exam is assured to test users in all subject areas. Students are required to demonstrate understanding of all course material before the examination is complete.

The Management Center is the lesson management system (LMS) for the Avstar Media programs. Through the Management Center, you have all the tools necessary to organize and oversee your training program. You can add and delete users to keep an up-to-date roster of students to be trained as well as assign curriculum to each student. You can see your students' progress to ensure they are keeping up with their required training and you can see scores and student comments in order to determine both strengths and growth opportunities.

Through the Management Center, you have access to a robust set of reporting capabilities that enable you to generate a variety of indispensable training reports. These reports help you monitor the training progress and performance of individuals or your entire crew. The reports are designed to meet the documentation requirements of the FAA as well as other industry groups. Reporting of training information has never been easier.
